It’s that time in the season in which old and new come together.

First, the 1968 Five-O team tries to connect the murders of a business man and two doctors in “Study in Rage”. Richard Hatch’s tan is getting a boost from some bronzer in this episode. It’s been a while since we’ve had some racist casting on the show.

And then the 2010 Five-0 team attempts to track down a serial killer targeting serial killers in “Makaukau ‘oe e Pa’ani?”, guest starring a resurrected Jack Lord. Yes. You read that correctly. It was a big deal at the time.

The artwork is disturbing, and the resurrected Jack Lord is so darkly lit that you can barely see that he looks like a video game character, but Richard Hatch and Gretchen Corbett are cute.
